Having experienced most angles in the music industry, from performing musician to studio owner and recording engineer, Norman Druce knows what exactly is needed from the musician, producers and engineer’s standpoint.

Norman cut his teeth recording on analog tape, building and wiring his own and friend’s studios and playing in noisy rock and roll bands. He is now credited as the sole creator of the “Atomic Instrument” (, switch mode power supplies for the 4/6/8K SSL, Neve VR and other classic recording consoles. Atomic power supply units have been quoted by the world’s very best engineers as improving the desks sound, lowering the noise floor as well as bringing an unheard level of reliability protection and power efficiency to these classic consoles. His company currently has units operating in many countries around the world.

He has also has built many speaker systems for Grammy and Oscar winning engineers, artist and producers as well as studio design, acoustic consulting, wiring, custom console fabrication, console installation and maintenance.

Norman is a Michigan native and has worked with or built gear for Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys, Prince, Bob Clearmountain, Tom Lord-Alge, Tommy Lee, Peter Framton, John Wozniak of Marcy Playground, Billy Corgan, Denaun Porter of D12, Kid Rock, Carl Craig, the Bass Brothers, Glenn Brown as well as the producers of Eminem, George Clinton, 50 Cent and many, many others.
